Our Story
Nestled on Barracks Street in the historic Treme neighborhood, Lil Peoples Place was born from a simple conviction: New Orleans deserves a space where the coffee is as deliberate as the jazz, and every guest feels like they've returned to the kitchen table.
We source our beans from roasters who share our obsession with quality, pour our cocktails with the same care your grandmother poured sweet tea, and play music that makes strangers become friends. This is Treme — the oldest neighborhood in America — and we're proud to be part of its living story.

What Makes Us Different
From solo guitar to full brass, Treme is the birthplace of jazz — and we keep that tradition alive with local performers every week.
No reservations needed for the bar. Pull up a chair, order whatever speaks to you, and let the rhythm of the neighborhood take over.
Birthdays, memorials, book clubs, or a quiet night with old friends — we'll set the table and handle the rest.
